Diet on a parasite detox
To complete my post I made a video where I tell you all about my diagnoses, so if you haven't seen it yet. Start here:
I wish to tell you - I eat straight from a "guide" during my parasite detox, but I really don't, so just because I don't include dark chocolate in this post doesn't mean I don't sip on a home made cacao right now ;-) This is probably far from parasite IDEAL diet, however I found that keeping this balance by eating my favorite foods + adding lots of foods that fight parasites works best for me. Ideally would be of course keep it low starch, only veggies with low IG - but at this point I have already tried raw, low starch, juice cleanse and it didn't really work... so I decided to include herbs and enjoy this process.
I don't think I have to say this but, what the heck... It's best not to eat highly processed food like chips, chocolate, and instead in case of emergency take a raw bar, dates, or fruits and include parasite killers made by nature such as: garlic, oregano, papaya seeds, watermelon seeds, pumpkin seeds, cloves, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, ginger, and more ;-)
Let's go through my daily food inspo...
ON AN EMPTY STOMACH:
I do my parasite treatments on daily basis now for over a month.
On an empty stomach I take one Paraprotex from Organic Olivia and I now mix it with one pill from Calvita - Paraprotex - this seems to give me best results (or more like worst side effects such as headache, and numbness - but I am keep cheering myself saying "it has to be worst before its better" as both products implement each other - I have not yet found one that would have all the indigence I want - so just find one and experiment ).
With this supplement I drink a lot of liquid. I have my two favorite morning drinks which I like to switch up:
1. Warm me up:
I boil a water with ginger, curcumin, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, chili powder, black pepper and then add a spoon of honey (you can use any sweetener - stevia leaves would be best, as they are great for candida overgrowth). I then wait for it to cool down and add a spoon of apple cider vinegar (which is great for increasing stomach acids before your meals. It will keep your stomach free from parasites and also ensure that you eliminate any larvae you accidentally eat during your meals. ) and lemon. Not only this drink warms me up, it also works wonders for my digestion and picks me up better than coffee. In a long run I can see it helps my stomach break down the food, and really warms up my body to kick the day. All the ingredients are also full of antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Also, I switch water with plant based milk and have 2-3 caps throughout the day.
2. Boost me up:
This is the second drink I have throughout the day, as often as possible. I also warm up the water, but first dilute 3-4 grams of vitamin C in a big jar, add a spoon of apple cider vinegar and some honey. Sometimes I also add a ginger shot. I drink this water with vitamin C in a variations with other things at least x3 daily.
I mix hot water and cold water 50/50 so it's around 40'C.
3. I also make lots of tea throughout the day: (always with ginger, cinnamon and cloves) ehinacea (great for strenthing the immune system) cistus, cat's claw, milk thistle, dandelion or best combo: neem, stevia, citus and cat's claw.
4. Three times daily I also drink a nano colloidal silver water - best antibiotic that doesn't taste like anything - which for me is a win win. (other things you can drink is MMS, or oregano oil, but I personally don't like the taste of either).
ONTO THE BREAKFAST:
1) For breakfast I usually have an oatmeal (on a non parasite cleanse days as well). I love my oatmeal with blueberries as they are great for parasite cleanse and "attract" heavy metals and deal with them ;-) I also add a lot of cinammon, curcumin and milk thistle. I usually switch between adding sliced apples or bananas for sweetening, or just have it without.
2) I also make pancakes. I would skip the sweetener and peanut butter, and perhaps use regular unsweetened plant milk. You can check out the recipe clicking at the video.
Recently I am also a sucker for soups, if I make a huge pot of veggies soup for dinner- I have just that for breakfast. I would usually have some rye bread with avocado and Himalayan salt and pepper with that as well.
3) My favorite soup right now is (from Alexowelove) three pores, bunch of potatoes, few white veggies like celery, green onion, garlic ( Green onion and garlic is a natural antiparasitic and antibiotic food. It also helps support bowel movements and bowel detoxification ) and I also always add some miso and ginger - I make a pot and usually eat throughout the day. I also add pumpking seeds to it.
If you have flour intolerance or if you see that your candida gets worst when using grains - avoid them and just make yourself some veggies :). If you are a fruit freak - papayas are a great choice for parasite cleanse - however for me highly raw diet doesn't work this time of the year (I will also write a separate article why raw diet is not for everyone).
LUNCH
I am very boring in terms of lunch I usually just either eat a brunch (so I have the breakfast very late) - as my drinks in the morning keep me full, or I have the soup. I almost always have a 12-16 hours break between meals (some call it intermediate fasting, I just see that my digestion likes this kind of break, so I don't force my breakfast straight away)
1) Today I had a huge salad with a papaya seed dressing . Papaya seeds and pumpking seeds are an everyday must have in my diet. For the dressing: I mixed papaya seeds, honey, himalayan salt, pepper, a bit of mustard, galic, and an apple cider vinegar (or a tiny bit of balsamico) and a whole lemon - and to my surprised the dressing was delicious and got my daily portion of papaya seeds right in ;-) The salad was just spinach, ice berg, tomatoes, cucumber and avocado. With that I had seeds bread with home made hummus (chickpeas, lemon, milk thistle, sesame seeds, curcumin, and lots of garlic).
2) Pumpking soup with some pumpking seeds is also a great option for lunch.
3) As fermented foods are requried to restore your gut flora I love to make my new easy-peasy-miso-soup. It only takes 10 max. 15 min to make it from washing the veggies to cooking it up.
I use cabbage (any cabbage that looks like would work in a soup :D - honestly we have quite a variety in Denmark, and I am not even sure what they are called in Polish nor English). I use nori sheets (if you are sodium sensitive skip that, but its a great source of iodine), I use 2-4 spoons of miso (fermented soyabeans paste) and tofu. Usually make 2 liters pot with half a head of a cabbage, 2-4 sheets of nori, 200 grams of tofu. I also add kelp for extra idione intake ;-) but it's optional.
SNACKS
1. I snack on apples, as they are great to swipe off your digestion track and are crunchy and filling. You might thing they don't have much nutritent in comparison to other fruits but surprisingly it's one of the best superfoods one can find, as it's filled with healing anti-inflammatory properties ;-) As well as contian pectin, which works as a broom and sweep out debris from the colon, and prevents putrefaction of proteins in the digestive track. okay yes I added a bit of peanut butter - guilty! It is not ideal so please don't say to anyway, and don't repeat at home. Nut butters almost always contain mold - which in this case is the last thing you want to add to your diet. So just apples it was ;-).
2. Pinneaples have antiparasitic enzyme known as bromelain. Some studies show that a 3-day pineapple fast can help kill tapeworms.
3. Carrots with hummus is my new favorite combo. Carrots or carrot juice (carrot, orange and gigner is my favorite combo) kills parasites as well.
DINNEROS
1) As a drink, I often have a fermented beetroot juice (you can find the recipe online it's super easy just takes 10 min to make and a week to get ready).
2)I also made buckwheat (with friend onion on coconut oil ) and a lot of stew veggies (zucchini, red pepper, onion, garlic, mushrooms - especially shiitake mushrooms, and whatever vegetable you like really) served with pickles because I eat pickles all day long, and they are a great source of probiotics.
3) It is also great to include pickles cabbage, so you can also do carrots and peas for your buckwheat and serve it with some pickled cabbage.
4) Last minute dinner idea can always be sweet potatoes wedges - because you can't go wrong with sweet potatoes and serve it with hummus.
5) Mashed potatoes with nutritional yeast is also one of my best options for a quick dinner, perhaps not my first choice in a parasite diet - but always light on the stomach and better than any processed food.
If you want to treat your parasites with a diet I would recommend dr. Dabrowska diet or Garson diet - however I am not undergoing this plan. I might perhaps try it after I am done with the herbs. Right now I am "too cold" to undergo a starvation plan, and need warming foods, so I eat according to Chinese medicine, but I am open for changes, as like I said - it's not perfect.
MY EXTRAS
After the dinner I soak myself in a magnesium salt bath with some baking soda - which cleanse out the toxins through my skin. And for the night I did a castor oil compress on my liver (to strengthen the liver). I also love adding some aromatherapy to my days lately so I had ylang ylang oil mixed with Rosemary oil to purified the air.
TREATMENTS
Besides taking two paraprotex daily I do treatments after the full moons (when the parasites lay there eggs). Today I had to do an extra treatment - (not recommending it, but I want to share with you and be completely transparent, so you can do your own research).
I have two different "extra" parasite treatments. First one, I got from a vet friend (yes something you normally apply to animals, therefore I can't recommend it to you but have something instead... )). There is also a drug called Zentel - you can buy in a pharmacy - which I haven't tried thou. The second one (equally good) if you want something natural, there is an option you can all buy would be something called 7pepas - is made only from fruits seeds and herbs.
7 pepas you can take 2-3 times a year, however if you have parasites you can take 1 pack 7-5 days before the full moon, 1 pack 1-4 days after the full moon, and one pack 9-12 days after the full moon
• Get rid of parasites
• Remove the deposits from the gut (detox + cleansing)
• Cleanse the digestive system of toxins (detox + cleansing)
• Increase your body's resistance and the amount of energy
• Significantly improve the digestion
• Improve their performance at the level of defense mechanisms bowel
It is made of papayas seeds, powdered mango seeds, powdered pumpkin seeds, powdered rhubarb seeds, which are all antiparasitic, Senna leaves (Folium Sennae) which enhance the motility of the colon, Orc Boldo leaves (Peumus boldus) - antyoxydant, improves the digestive system (liver, intestine, kidney), an alkaloid contained in the leaves Boldin works cholagoguely and cholepoieticly, and Chenopodium Mexican leaves (Dysphania ambrosioides) - oils contained in the leaves have antiparasitic activity - combat pinworms, roundworms and human duodenum hookworm.
Which I would highly advise you to read about before purchasing, otherwise you can always call a friendly vet and ask what he treats his family against parasites with ;-) Vets usually know best, and are not payed to prescribe you certain things like doctors sometimes do. Otherwise ask a good naturalist. To "clear everything out" it is also good to do enemas and liver cleans (recommending the one from dr. Hulda Clark).
So just for inspirational reasons I have to take 3x 7pepas to actually cleanse and then after each time I would do enema or the liver cleanse. I won't write you an exact treatment - as I am NOT a doctor and I would highly advise you do contact a doctor to have your own dosage, or do a research on your own. This article is just inspirational and is not meant to treat a diseases.
